Cancers of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts are challenging diseases that require complex care plans. These are cancers occur in the bile ducts, the tubes that carry bile from the liver or gallbladder to the small intestine.

The symptoms do not usually become apparent until the disease reaches an advanced stage.
