Dr. Andrew Odhiambo is a dedicated Medical Oncologist committed to transforming cancer patients into survivors through personalized and evidence-based care. He specializes in the management of a wide range of cancers, with a primary focus on gastrointestinal malignancies, including liver, bile duct, and pancreatic cancers. He also has extensive experience in treating advanced and metastatic cases of lung, breast, and kidney cancers.

Dr. Odhiambo has a strong interest in complex and challenging cases, including sarcomas, relapsed or refractory cancers, difficult-to-treat malignancies, and cancers of unknown primary origin. His approach is rooted in precision oncology, where he leverages advanced technologies such as next-generation sequencing, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique cancer profile.

With significant experience in providing second and third opinions, Dr. Odhiambo is dedicated to ensuring patients receive accurate diagnoses and the most effective treatment options available.

He currently serves as the Medical Oncology Program Director and Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, an Honorary Consultant Medical Oncologist at Kenyatta National Hospital Cancer Unit, and a Consulting Medical Oncologist at Prime Cancercare Clinic in Nairobi. He is also the outgoing Secretary of the Kenya Society of Hematology and Oncology (KESHO), reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing cancer care and awareness in Kenya.
